I (19f) have been struggling with my mom because of her double standards. Ever since we have moved to the UK with her and my (30m) brother, I was supposed to clean the house, cook, take care of the dog, work and help her with college assignments. Some of my chores apparently involved me cleaning after my brother, taking care of his laundry, and always listen to his love life problems. Basically I'm supposed to do everything while he does nothing. Today I texted her, saying that he should clean after himself, cause this ain't my responsibility and his emotional baggage ain't my job to deal with. She got angry and told me, that I could move out if I didn't like it, and I'm being extremely rude. Am I the asshole? Btw sorry for any grammar mistakes, English is not my first language Edit: I want to clarify since some of the comments said that's it's her home and I live there for free. It's not, we all moved in and we all pay rent, I do have a job and go to uni.
