am I the AH scenario? I went on a trip with my family, I unfortunately left some shorts and some special gummies that my family found. unfortunately my 28yr cousin ate one. it greened her out, whatever, why would you eat something that wasn't yours? plus I warned her before I knew she ate em. 1 week passed, my family said they were gonna bring me my stuff, okay cool. 2 weeks passed, they brought me my shorts but not my gummies. so same day, they are in my house while I'm texting them. I ask about my gummies, why she say she ate one and then gave one to her brother? keep in mind I barely interact with these people. why would you eat and share something that wasn't yours? so now, I'm kinda tweaking and asking her why she would eat my stuff through text. shes like "well you left them there". okayyyy???? were you gonna keep my shorts just cause I left them there? no. so why wouldn't you hold up the same logic to my other things? anyways, she's tryna be dismissive about it and then ends up offering to pay for them. why wouldn't you do that right after you ate them? those gummies were the max 303mg in each piece. whole bag was $80, but there were 2.5 left, I gave 3 or 4 to my friend for their birthday. me and my partner wanted to enjoy the rest of them. we eat half a gummy each and knock out for the night, so that was a few dosages they ate nonchalantly. she sent me $20 through cashapp. but later I felt kinda guilty for some reason, so I explained why I was tweaking and feeling that way, all for me to be left on read. I just find it crazy that she doesn't know how to have an uncomfortable conversation with her loved ones, but now that I think about it, no one in my family does. so, am I the asshole for charging her $20 for 2.5 gummies?
