I am disabled and have serious mobility issues/digestive issues. I placed an order through DoorDash. It was 60 total I gave a 10 dollar tip bringing the total to 70. The shopper and I were texting back and forth through the app. I put in the app no substitutions. She suggested several substitutions for out of stock items I asked her several times please no substitutes thank you. I called her at one point and talked to her for a few seconds. I told her your getting the tip no matter what. Please just get what items you can no substitutions. She said ok sure no problem. After that she put that egg whites were out of stock which was OK but then she got all natural shepherds pie as a substitute. I got a push notifications via the doordash letting me know. I tried to reach out to her several times through text and even attempted to call but she didn't reply. She showed up 30 minutes later and left it on the doorstep when I had requested. Every item in the bag was something I couldn't eat. I then contacted doordash and they offered me a 21 dollar credit to my account. I said i just wanted my money back on my card. They said it was the best they could do. So I did a charge back from my bank for the full amount, including the tip. I gave the food to my neighbors. Food in this economy is already very expensive and to get everything but what I ordered even after I made it clear she could show up with just 1 item and I would still tip her because even 1 correct item was better then nothing. So AITA for doing a chargeback for doordash including the tip?
