Hello Reddit, AITA for this. Me and my girlfriend went on a viewing on a apartment 2 days ago, yesterday we got notified that we got the place and I told my parents and when I asked my girlfriend to tell her she didn’t want because they was being saying stuff like she can’t move out until marriage. Then my mother posted on facebook (proud mother stuff) and her mother found out and now I’m being banished from there family because of it. Will answer any questions below. Am I the asshole?
