So to make an incredibly long, messy, complicated, story short my ex best friend is pregnant again with her partner. Who I should mention got her pregnant the night after doing something to me I can't say due to rules. While horrifying not why I'm writing this. My ex best friend (lets call her L) has an autistic toddler who she has extreme difficulty taking care of her. While I know she tries her hardest, after living with her a few months ago I noticed her child is not only an absolute terror who bullied my son. Which because he was tired of it started to push her away she tried to say it was both of them like her daughter didn't hurt him MANY times. she assumed this because never watches her. The house is a literal hazard stuff piled everywhere. Several times the piles fell on my son or he fell and hurt himself bad. There's legal (depending where you are) substances within reach of child. While I was there as well, because so much stuff was piled on the stove while her daughter was trying to climb on it to get a sweet she accidentally turned on the stove because she was not supervised and it caught fire. There's a lot more but these are just some of the major issues. She used to say a lot that she would never have another kid for many reasons, so when she announced she was pregnant it was quite a shock. If you've gotten this far I appreciate it I'm sorry it's a bit of a mess just lots to write with very little room. My question is WIBTA if I report her to DHS so the children have a better living situation? I'm worried because with this new baby she'll be even more spread thin and possibly neglect her daughter and possibly this other baby. As well as the house causeing even more of a hazardous living space.
