My cousin (30F) got engaged a few weeks ago, and I (22M) am not sure if I was even invited. It appears the invites for the engagement party were sent out a few days ago. My father had sent me a text yesterday asking if I had received the invitation which I had not. The invitations were through an online invitation service so my dad had received the invite from her and he then decided to send it to me. I also noticed when looking at the invite it only has the name for one guest. I looked into the site and there is an option to specify how many guest names, however I’m honestly unsure how everything is supposed to work. It gets more interesting. I actually saw her today when at another family members house and there was absolutely no mention of the engagement party. I bumped into her as she was leaving the house and we said a simple hello and catch up talk before she left with a friend. I just think it’s odd since I was one of the first people she called when she got engaged. Our relationship has been pretty neutral other than strained dynamics in the family as a whole and there’s nothing out of the ordinary nor are we on bad terms as far as I know. My point is that I really don’t know if I’m even invited and she has not personally mentioned it to me or asked me other than my father asking me if I’m going. WIBTA and how should I go about this?
