My (F, 28) boyfriend (M, 32) left the house after midnight to buy me some delta 8 gummies after I told him I wanted to smoke weed. I just had surgery, however, my dr said marijuana was fine. I didn’t say I wanted it tonight. Just expressed interest in wanting to smoke. He does not want me to and suggested gummies. I told him multiple times I didn’t like gummies. We ended the conversation to agree to disagree because it was getting no where. I let it go and started watching something on Netflix. Eventually, I realized things were quiet and I got up to look for him. I called but he didn’t answer, however he came back in shortly after calling him. He threw the gummies on the bed and I was immediately pissed, said I didn’t want them, and gave them back to him. I also sent him his money back. He’s upset and saying it was “stupid” for him to go get them anyway, but I explicitly told him THC gummies don’t work for me so why would you go pick up Delta 8 gummies from who knows where after midnight. I understand he wants me to feel better but if I say I don’t like something or it doesn’t work for me and you do what YOU want anyway, is it really my fault? Now I’m feeling like an ungrateful, entitled pothead because he left the house so late to help me feel better. I haven’t been rude at all. It’s been a quiet seething but he’s giving me the cold shoulder now. AITA for being ungrateful about my partner leaving the house after midnight to get me delta 8 gummies?
