I (30M) have been dating my girlfriend (30F) who has a best friend since kindergarten called Jake, who has recently been released from prison after serving time for second degree murder and she asks me if she can go see him and I say no. But it's completely normal to say that since I don't feel safe about my girlfriend being around someone like that and now she keeps calling me a control freak and that im extremely judgemental, even though I have safety at heart.
