So, my mother is this huge David Bowie fangirl, but I think she's going overboard. Our entire living room (we live in a rather small living apartment where the kitchen and living room are more or less the same room) has like 10 pictures of the man framed on the walls, and I honestly think it's really creepy. I don't hate David Bowie as a person or as a musician, I just don't need 10 of him looking at me every time I want to go the bathroom, so I tend to hang them down and mom isn't too happy when I do that. She even calls me crazy, which I consider to be...ironic. And if you're wondering wether there are pictures of anyone else, there are only three very small photos of me, her and my brothers on this tiny side cabinet, that you probably wouldn't notice because something is always standing in front of it. Nothing framed on the wall or otherwise given quite that much focus, and this contrast honestly makes it all the creepier in my opinion.
