Not sure where to post but here I am, and here's the story- My granddaughter came over to visit And since she has a stent in her chest, our dogs ( dogs are two females age 10 yr. and 14 yr old pits cannot be around her because they like to jump and play. So my boyfriend puts them in the room with him while my granddaughter visits. After my granddaughter left I was picking up and my boyfriend let the dogs out. Our older dog accidentally ate 2 to 3 peanut M&M's. He got upset and I said that I was not done cleaning. Anyways, fast forward to 3 weeks and our dog starts to slow down she won't get up as much and she wasn't eating as much. We took her to the vet and they told us that she had tumors and they had nothing they could do for her. The best thing to do would be to put her down so we took her home and let her pass away at home. 2 and 1/2 weeks past and she stopped getting up and she started howling like she was in pain we took her to the vet and had her put down. And now my boyfriend is saying it's my fault she died. And somehow I don't feel that's fair. She was older and she was already starting to slow down a little bit. So is it really my fault? Did a couple of M&M's kill her?
